If you so choose, you can also click here to visit my original broadcast page at YouTube. I still love YouTube, but Veoh just doesn't have the same file-size, duration, or content restrictions that YouTube does. Works for me! Like any artist, I'm not a big fan of any restrictions on my work (and you already know my feelings on censorship), so Veoh is my new favorite place to post videos as I create them.
So, you ask, "What is 243 Films?" Well, 243 Films (pronounced Two-Four-Three, notTwo-FORTY-Three) is an non-incorporated and decidedly non-commercial entity I created to act as the production company behind any of my film and video projects generally not related to my client-driven video work. My mission statement explains the concept a little more clearly.
MISSION STATEMENT: 243 Films is a New England-based non-commercial group of talented filmmakers, actors, and film crew personnel, individually both amateur and professional, specifically gathered together to provide career-enhancing opportunitiesfor professional, semi-professional, experienced non-professional, and up-and-coming amateur film industry talent.
Given that they're distinctly separate from our client-driven work, film productions and projects developed in-house by 243 Films generally fall into the category of microbudget (IE: no-to-super-low budget). As a result, our films are considered "resume-building" opportunities, and should be approached as such.
